Go-To Guys Need Go-To Guys Too

WE ALL NEED A GO-TO GUY IN OUR LIVES Ladies, my use of the phrase  go-to guy  in this blog post is not meant  t o be offensive to the women in leadership positions out there. It’s a commonly used phrase that points to a person who you can trust to be there for you whenever you run into an issue or difficulty. Just so you know, two of my  go-to guys  are actually amazing ladies who I can trust with my life; my Kingdom Queen Claudia ( Mrs. Rosario ), and my sister from another mister Karen (the friend that became more than family). So please don’t let the use of a common phrase take away from the message. I’ve been in  leadership  positions for years. As a leader, I’ve often been labeled the  go-to guy  by others. Call Out Before You Burn Out

  Many of the leaders who come to me, they open up in ways they do not open to the public or even to their co-leaders. Many of them are living lives that are more like Instagram feeds than real life. They only show you the pretty, touched up pictures with the perfect filters, but never let you see the ugly, raw, unfiltered photos. Some wait until their frustration is about to take them down before they come to me. Not all leaders are l i ke this. Most of my clients come to me before things start going wrong. Many of them come to me when things are going well because they know that there’s always room for improvement and growth. Unfortunately some wait until stress starts catching up to them before they come to me as a  consulting  client. These are the ones that are in a place that makes them say things like, “I’m exhausted,” or “I’m about to lose my mind,” or “this  job  is killing me.” Leaders, please don’t let things get this bad before you bring an outside...
