In The Beginning...

In The Beginning… What is your “in the beginning” story?

Εν αρχή ήταν ο Λόγος, και ο Λόγος ήταν με τον Θεό, και ο Λόγος ήταν Θεός. -Ιωάννης 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. -John 1:1

Στην αρχή ο Θεός δημιούργησε τους ουρανούς και τη γη. -Γένεση 1:1
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. -Genesis 1:1

Ήταν στην αρχή με τον Θεό. -Ιωάννης 1:2
He was in the beginning with God. -John 1:2 NKJV

Εσύ, Κύριε, στην αρχή έθεσες τα θεμέλια της γης, Και οι ουρανοί είναι έργο των χεριών σου. -Εβραίους 1:10
You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands. -Hebrews 1:10

The beginning of all things under the sun matters. This is why companies and organizations share their history with others, because how they started, why they started and who was there when they started matters. A connection to the beginning will often lead to a valuable, tangible and very real (authentic) connection in the present. History is at the heart of a person, a people or a company/organization’s present heart.

Are you in business? Are you in public service? Are you an entrepreneur? Are you in ministry? If so, are you sharing your beginning story? Let’s talk about it!

My name is George L. Rosario. I am the oldest son of Ostacio Rosario and Minerva Gonzalez’s 3 sons. My parents were both born in Puerto Rico. They met in Brooklyn NY in 1969. I was born on August 30th, 1972 in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn New York and raised in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn New York. I spent the first half of my life in different boroughs of New York City (Brooklyn, Queens & Manhattan), and never believed I would leave NYC. On December 8th, 2020 I relocated to Delray Beach Florida. I live in Palm Beach County Florida with my beautiful, Godly wife Claudia (The Feisty Colombian) and our 4 year old pitbull Gunner the Runner.

See, giving you my history opens me up to conversation. Anyone who lived in Williamsburg Brooklyn in the 80’s and 90’s may experience a connection to me. Anyone born in Brooklyn may experience a connection with me. Anyone who’s parents were born in Puerto Rico may experience a connection with me. Any New Yorker that has moved to Florida from New York City in the past year may have a connection with me. Any person whose mother’s name is Minerva may experience a connection with me. Any person who has heard the name Ostacio before (my dad’s the only one I know) may experience a connection with me. Any person who lives in Delray Beach Florida may experience a connection with me. Any person who has lived in Brooklyn, in Queens or in Manhattan may experience a connection with me. Any person born in 1972 may have a connection with me. Any person who lives in Palm Beach County may experience a connection with me. Any family with a grown pitbull may experience a connection with me. Any man married to a beautiful, Godly wife Colombian wife may experience a connection with me. As a matter of fact, any man who refers to his lady as a Godly woman may experience a connection with me.

Do you now see how important it is to tell your history?

The Power of The Words We Say… To Ourselves

There is a huge difference between starting a sentence or a comment with the words “I feel” and “I am.” How use these two phrases in our sentences and our expressions will make a huge difference in our lives. I would go as far as to say that they can make you or break you. After all, death and life are in the power of the tongue ( Proverbs 18:21 ). I have worked for m a ny years with broken men, broken teams, broken churches and organizations, broken companies, and some large corporations that are truly broken. I have even worked with broken politicians in office, and broken criminals in jail, and some of you right now may be thinking there’s not much of a difference between the two. I know within minutes whether or not I will be able to help a person or team’s situation. This is why I provide a free of cost,  complementary 30 minute consultation  for anyone who is seeking the services of  GC Rosario Group . Top 10 Essential Qualities of Leadership

Needless to say, there are plenty of people who have adopted the title of "leader" who do not deserve that title. Many have abused the title because they have no idea what that actually means. Others simply took on roles in leadership to feed their own egos, wants and needs. A leader is not necessarily a boss. As a matter of fact, all the greatest leaders I've met in my life detested being called a leader. They understood that a true leader serves the people he leads. He is not focused on his own self-interests but rather on the needs of the people he leads. Leaders are responsible for shaping our nation, our policies, our communities, our families, our organizations and our marketplace. They are not called to shape these by force or with tyrannical practices, but rather with empathy, care, respect, and a serving heart. Leaders do not boss people around. Leaders lead through example. I think it goes beyond saying that we need good leaders in our world today. We need good ...
